- About the trainers

Laura and Julius co-founded Contentious, a content strategy consultancy. They help put good, sustainable, user-centred digital content, tools and practices at the heart of an organisation. They help people make the most of digital possibilities.
Laura has previously worked for Bond, Conciliation Resources, Plan UK and Responding to Conflict. Fluent in French and Spanish, she has lived and worked in Argentina, Colombia, France and Mexico. She is passionate about peacebuilding and proper use of the English language.
Julius has previously worked for Bond, ActionAid and the Commission for Racial Equality. He is also co-chair of Digital Charities and an international award-winning journalist. He has worked as digital adviser to a Caribbean government, written and co-written over 50 books and edited several more.
