Speaker on day 1: Rosie Carter
State of the nation: Just how divided are we, and how do we build bridges?
Rosie Carter is senior policy officer at HOPE not Hate. She co-led the National Conversation on Immigration. Rosie first joined the organisation as a community organiser in the West Midlands running political campaigns and outreach in areas targeted by the far right. Besides her work with HNH, her research has explored modern slavery in London, Roma inclusion in Romania, emigration from the Gambia and responses to the refugee crisis in Greece. She holds an MSc in Migration Studies from Oxford University.
